Meet the Founder: Elisa Chiniara
Elisa (pronounced Eliza) founded Office Hours to help businesses and people succeed.
She thrives at the center of businesses and careers—where strategy connects to execution and people are empowered to grow. Elisa has a general manager mindset and brings consumer-centricity to all that she does. Elisa worked in Consumer Insights at CSpace, the leader in online consumer communities, before going on to manage brands like Aveeno Baby, Band-Aid and Neosporin at Johnson & Johnson Consumer (now Kenvue), Harry’s (now Mammoth Brands), and Private Equity-backed Whisps, a better-for-you cheese snack.
She has managed P&Ls as large as $500M and as small as $20K, developed omni-channel go-to-market strategies, shaped brand identities, and led cross-functional teams to drive operational efficiency. Elisa has managed talent and has been on both sides of the hiring equation - hiring while also helping people land their next roles, internally and externally. She is passionate about helping people build their skillset and navigate change so they can thrive in their careers.
Elisa is known for her ability to quickly connect dots, translate vision into action and execute with excellence. Whether she’s advising a founder on growth strategy, guiding a company through a positioning shift, or helping someone craft a résumé and cover letter that truly reflects their strengths - Elisa is driven by helping people and businesses achieve their goals.
She is an Advisor in Residence at the Halloran Lab for Entrepreneurship at Colby College and is a Innovate@BU Accelerator Coach. In addition, she serves on the Board of the Cape Cod Culinary Incubator and is an Instructor & Mentor with eForAll Cape Cod. Elisa has a BA from Colby College and an MBA from UNC Kenan-Flagler.
Having worked with businesses and clients at different stages, Elisa designed the Office Hours model to enable clients to enjoy the flexibility of an ongoing project, partnership, or one-off engagements.
